Gurjeet Singh Aujla is a Memebr of Parliament from Amritsar. He was born on 30 October 1972 to Shri Sarabjit Singh Aujila and smt. Gurmeet Kaur. He completed his higher secondary education at P.N.B. Sr. Secondary School,.Amritsar, Punjab.
He was a farmer and a builder. He is married to Smt. Undleeb Roy Aujla and has one son and a daughter. On 11 March 2017 he won the by-poll to the Lok Sabha seat which was necessitated due to the vacancy caused by the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh in 2016.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections Gurjeet Singh Aujla defeated BJP nominee Hardeep Singh Puri by a margin of 99,626 votes. AAP candidate Kuldip Singh Dhaliwalsecured 20,087votes to finished third.
