AIBE Exam to be held on 24 January, 2021; Registrations extended till 3 December

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has decided to postpone the conduct of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) exam to 24 January, 2021 which was going to be conducted on November 8 this year.

The date of registration for the exam has also been extended to 3 December.

Although initially the exam was going to be held on August 16 but it was postponed to 8 November in the ongoing pandemic.

The AIBE exam is an open-book examination conducted by the BCI twice every year which every lawyer has to pass to be admitted into the Bar.

The schedule is as follows:

Online registration had begun from- 16th May, 2020

Bank payment through challan started from- 16th May, 2020

Online registration extended till- 3rd December, 2020

Last date for payment- 10th December, 2020

Last date for completion of online form- 15th December, 2020

Online release of admit cards- 5th January, 2021

Date of Examination- 24th January, 2021

The schedule given above is subjected to changes as per the decision of the BCI.
