Police Authorities in Jammu opt the old method of beating drums and announcing the Court Verdict against the man evading Arrest in the Case registered against him 15 years ago.

As per the directions of the Court, Domana Station House Officer Inspector Mahesh Sharma and other officers exercised the age old method which was hardly seen using to pronounce the Order declaring the Accused a signified Offender in the areas of Domana and Lale-De-Bagh.

The Authorities also affixed the Court Order at the noticeable places so that the Accused and his legal heir are aware of it and would not be able to deny the information with regard to the Order.

The Court of the Judicial Magistrate of Jammu issued the ‘notice of proclamation’ as per the Section 87 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) against the Accused Vishal Kumar resident of Lale – De – Bagh, who has been escaping Arrest in the Case registered under Section 363 (Punishment for kidnapping), Section 448 (Criminal Trespassing) and Section 342 (wrongful confinement).
