All the courts in Rajasthan have resumed physical hearing from 11th January onwards.
The decision was made by the Rajasthan High Court after the Bar Council of Rajasthan had sought resumption of physical hearing.
Rajasthan High Court had ordered in November about the decision to only function virtual courts amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The decision was applicable to both the benches of Rajasthan High Court – Jaipur and Jodhpur.
The notification of Rajasthan HC in November stated:
“Taking into consideration the exponential rise in Covid19 cases at Jodhpur and Jaipur, it is hereby notified that for safety of all stakeholders, the functioning of Rajasthan High Court at Jodhpur and Jaipur Bench from 23.11.2020 to 05.12.2020 shall be only through video conferencing.”
