The Madras High Court orders the concerned authorities to take action against the schools functioning without proper recognition.

Justice Abdul Quddhose passed this order while listening to the application filed by one school that was not recognised and has also not been given the approval of the Director of Town and Country Planning (DTCP).

It was noted by the Court that if any such school running without the appropriate recognition and without DTCP approval, then authorities can take legal actions against such schools.

The judge was passing interim orders on a petition from a school, represented by Kuppusamy, challenging the order dated August 2 this year of the authority calling upon the petitioner to shift its students to a nearby institution on the ground that the petitioner school is not having recognition and is also not having the approval of the Director of Town and Country Planning (DTCP).
