BACKGROUND- Ramayyagari Subhash Reddy is a Judge of Supreme Court of India. He served as the Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court. He also served as the Judge of Andhra Pradesh High Court.
He has done his graduation in B.Sc. from Andhra Vidyalaya College, Hyderabad. He was born in Medak District, Telangana. A Division Bench presided by R. Subhash Reddy, held that Special Court under the Electricity Act, 2003 can take cognizance of the offence under Section 151 of the Act which is otherwise forbidden under Section 193 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
