UPBRINGING & EDUCATION: He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Science from University of Kerala. Thereafter, he pursued Law from Government Law College, Kerala. He received his master’s degree in law (Administration Law) from Cochin University of Science and Technology.

After getting his master’s degree in law, he did post graduate Diploma in Constitutional law from ICPS, Delhi and enrolled himself and practiced in Kerala High Court.

WALK OF LIFE: Mr. Radhakrishnan practiced in subordinate Civil Courts at Ernakulam and also at the Kerala High Court. He also was standing counsel for SBI, Cochin University of Science and Technology, State Trading Corporation of India, State Bank of Travancore and Kerala State Cooperative Rubber Marketing Ferderation. He also used to go teach for LLM students as a guest lecturer from 1976 – 1978. He also served himself as a Judge in Kerala High Court and Supreme Court of India. He also held his position in Jammu&Kashmir and Gujarat High Court as Chief Justice.

He has been part of many important cases as a Judge of the Supreme Court.

SEBI v. Sahara

In this case, Justice Radhakrishnan was one of the two judge bench, here, Sahara was ordered to return the money collected illegally. On not doing so arrest of it’s top management and the topmost boss was ordered.

He was also a part of the two judge bench of Supreme Court in National Legal Services Authority v. UOI, and was also a part of the case where the transgender people were declared to be a ‘third gender’.
