BJP leader Suvdendu Adhikari slaps a legal notice on Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee for accusing him of extortion in his speech at a rally.
Suvendu Adhikari recently joined BJP Bengal after quitting TMC.
Abhishek Banerjee is Mamata Banerjee’s nephew, recently released a letter written by Sudipta Sen, the jailed Saradha Group promoter, at a public rally in which he accused Suvendu Adhikari of extorting Rs 6 crore from the chit fund company.
Abhishek Banerjee accused in his election rally in South 24 Parganas that the former Trinamool Congress strongman Suvendu Adhikari of extorting Rs 6 crore from the Saradha Group in which several TMC leaders were probed.
Abhishek Banerjee said,“This is the letter of Sudipta Sen submitted in court. I can send the letter to the forensic department to scrutinize whose handwriting is this and when was this written. Sudipta Sen wrote: I have paid crores to Suvendu Adhikari,”.
