Supreme Court bans entry of clerk on account of sexual harassment

The Supreme Court issued a notification banning the entry of Mr. Ashok Saina, clerk of an Advocate in the Supreme Court. 

He was banned for a period of 3 months.

The notification was passed after a complaint was filed of sexual harassment within the precinct of the Supreme Court.

He was found guilty of harassment at the Supreme Court under Regulation 11(1)(b), 11(1)(c) and 11(2)(a) of the Gender Sensitisation and Sexual Harassment of Women.

He was found guilty and debarred from entering the precincts of the Supreme court from 1st July, 2021 to 30th September, 2021.
