The Court has officially recorded the complainant’s statement in a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi. The case stems from a remark made by Rahul Gandhi against the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).
Court recorded the statement of the complainant, Rajesh Kunte, who has accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of defaming the RSS by linking it to Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination.
The examination-in-chief of Rajesh Kunte, an RSS activist and the complainant in the case, took place before Judicial Magistrate (First Class) L C Wadikar at a court in Bhiwandi. Kunte had filed a private complaint against Rahul Gandhi for his statement made at a rally in 2014, where he accused the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of involvement in Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination.
