WhatsApp: No deadline to Policy Update, Users will not lose features

Mobile messaging service provided, WhatsApp clarified that its users will not lose functionality on May 15, even if they don’t accept the new privacy policy.

The reports stated that the service provider will put some functionality out of users’ reach leaving them with no option to either accept the policy or to stop using the app.

The features included the ability to make phone calls and even text their loved ones.

The providers’ clarified such reports and said that they have pushed back their deadline for a roll-out which was earlier meant to leave people with no choice but to agree with the policy if they wished to use the application. 

The provider further clarified that the update does not impact the privacy of personal messages and no account will be deleted even if the new terms are not accepted.
