Telangana High Court Judge Justice P Keshava Rao passes away

Telangana High Court’s sitting Judge Justice P. Keshava Rao passed away in the early hours of August 9. He was 61 years of age.

Justice Rao was said to be undergoing treatment for a serious ailment at a private hospital in Hyderabad for the past few weeks. He took his last breath at the hospital at around 3:47 am.

The mortal remains of Justice Rao will be kept at his residence in Madhuban Enclave on street no. 4, Habsiguda till 2 p.m and later the last rites will be conducted at Jubilee Hills Mahaprasthanam at around 3 p.m.

K Chandrashekhar Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana, grieved the death of Justice Rao and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.

Chandrashekhar Rao also remembered the legal services Justice Rao had rendered to aid the poor under his judgeship.

Justice Rao had joined Telangana High Court as a Judge on September 21, 2017. 

Telangana High Court announced a holiday for the day (9th August) to all the Courts in Telangana on account of Justice Rao’s sad demise.
