The Supreme Court has dismissed the review petition filed by former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, seeking a reevaluation of its October 30 judgment, which had denied bail to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader.

Sisodia faces charges of money laundering and corruption in connection with alleged irregularities in the formulation and execution of a now-abandoned liquor policy in the national capital. He has been in custody since February and is under investigation by both the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Directorate of Enforcement (ED).

In October, a bench comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and SVN Bhatti had rejected Sisodia’s special leave petition challenging a Delhi High Court order denying him bail in both the CBI and ED cases.

Justice Khanna, in chambers, heard Sisodia’s review petition and dismissed it, stating, “We have carefully perused review petitions as also the grounds in support thereof. In our opinion, no case for review of the judgment dated 30.10.2023 is made out,” as per the Court’s order.
