Jharkhand High Court has cancelled the sixth merit list of the JPSC (Jharkhand Public Service Commission) exam and ordered the State Government to take necessary actions against the officials responsible for the mistake in the merit list.
Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi gave the verdict and ordered the release of the fresh list within 8 weeks.
By this decision, the appointment of 326 candidates has been declared void.
After dismissing several pleas on the same matter, the Court allowed two petitions in the hearing, in which the court had accepted the petition of Sumit Kumar with minimum marks.
The Court has directed the JPSC to republish the previously released result regarding the minimum marks (minimum margin) within 8 weeks of the order.
