In view of the second wave of covid-19 in Delhi, the Delhi High Court has preponed the summer vacations for all District courts in the national capital.
The vacations will begin from 17th May and continue till 3rd June.
Adding to this, the notification further stated, “The Courts presided over by the officers of Delhi Judicial Service (except the Courts of Metropolitan Magistrates) shall remain closed for Summer Vacation from 17th May 2021 to 3rd June 2021 (both days inclusive) and the Courts of Metropolitan Magistrate shall remain closed for Summer Vacation from 17th May 2021 to 27th May 2021 (both days inclusive).”
17th May to 15th June shall be the vacation period for members of Delhi Judicial Services falling under Delhi Judicial Service (Leave) Rules, 2011.
