The crime branch has submitted to a sessions court that it would not take any coercive action against Sivasubramanian Sundaram, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Republic TV up till the hearing.
Sundaram is the CFO of ARG Outlier Media Pvt. Ltd. – the company that operates Republic TV and R. Bharat.
Earlier, Priya Mukherjee, COO of ARG Outlier, was granted bail by a sessions court.
The sessions court has started hearing the bail plea on 14th December. Advocate Niranjan Mundargi appeared for Sundaram and stated that his client comprehends an arrest similar to that of the company’s CEO (Vikas Khanchandani’s) arrest.
Mumbai Police crime branch arrested Republic TV CEO Vikas Khanchandani in the fake TRP Scam and Mumbai court remanded him to police custody till December 15.
