Malegaon Blast: BJP MP Pragya to appear before NIA Court

Pragya Singh Thakur, BJP MP, one of the accused of the 2008 Malegaon blast case will appear before the Special NIA Court today.

JP Mishra, Pragya’s counsel, has confirmed that she will be appearing before the court today.

On December 19, Mishra had stated that the NIA Court was delaying the hearing.

Out of seven accused, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur and two more did not appear before the National Investigation Agency Court on December 19.

The accused were charged under several sections of UAPA of the IPC.

Some of the charges include: committing a terrorist act, conspiring to commit a terrorist act, murder, criminal conspiracy, attempt to murder, voluntarily causing hurt, and promoting enmity between two religious groups.
