Hearing to begin within 2 weeks in the Supreme Court over alleged Rafale corruption

As per a French Publication it has been clearly stated, “Mediapart had reported that the Dassault aviation had paid about 1 million euros to an Indian company called Defsys Solutions for fifty models of the aircraft which were to be given as gifts.”

Public interest litigation was filed against the alleged corruption in the Rafale deal. Chief Justice of India has clarified that the public interest litigation will be heard within 2 weeks.

Basically the controversy of the  Rafale deal is related to a political controversy in relation to the purchase of 36 multirole fighter aircraft for an estimated price of 7.8 billion euros by the defence ministry of India from France’s Dassault Aviation. 

The Advocate who brought forward the public interest litigation in the apex court is M L Sharma. 

The Advocate demanded that an independent investigation should be done in the matter which is in relation to the purchase of 36 fighter aircrafts from France.

The allegation raised in the litigation stated, “In relation to the 2016 deal between India and France there was involvement of payment of 1.1 million euros by aviation major the salt to an Indian middle man.”

Mediapart is a French media publication which has alleged as well as clearly stated that, “Dassault Aviation had paid about 1 million euros to an Indian company called as solutions for 50 models of the aircraft which were to be given as gifts.”

Defsys solutions is run by Sushen Gupta.

With the upcoming of this public interest litigation as well as with the heating of this matter investigations have started of Mr Gupta in relation to the Augusta Westland Helicopter Scam.

Mediapart also stated, “The company that is the Dassault Aviation set the money was used to pay for the manufacture of 50 large replica models of rafale jets even though the inspectors were given no proof that these models were made.”

As per the report from the sources it is clear that, “One of these models is outside the residence of air Chief and the other models are installed at western air command. Rest of the models are headed to the new Rafael squadron being set-up in Hasimara, whereas the rest are in the warehouse waiting to be installed.”

the Congress government has even raised numerous questions and allegations 2 prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, in the similar matter in regards to the corruption allegation over the Rafale fighter jets.
