In a recent development, the Goods and Service Tax Network (GSTN) has issued a crucial advisory addressing payment methods involving credit cards (CC), debit cards (DC), and the Unified Payments Interface (UPI).

To enhance the ease of transactions via credit cards, debit cards, and UPI, GSTN has introduced two new payment options within the e-payment framework, complementing the existing net banking facility.

Users can now make payments using credit cards, debit cards, or UPI through Kotak Mahindra Bank, regardless of the issuing bank of the credit or debit card being used.

At present the facility is available in 10 states and remaining states are expected to join soon.

While the integration process with other banks is underway, this feature is currently operational in 10 states, with the remaining states and Union Territories expected to join in the near future.
