Disha Salian Defamation Case: Anticipatory Bail Granted to the Union Minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh by Mumbai Court

A Mumbai Court granted Bail to a Father-Son Duo, Union Minister Narayan Rane, and his Son Nitesh Rane in Disha Salian Defamation Case.

Union Minister Narayan Rane and his son Nitesh Rane were Accused of making Misleading Statements and Defamatory Remarks about the Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Former Manager, Disha Salian.

After the Duo Allegedly made Defamatory Remarks and spread False Information about her Death, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed by the Mumbai Police.

The Complaint was Lodged by the Deceased’s Mother, Vasanti Salian upon which the Case was Registered.

Earlier to this, seeking Action against the Narayan, Nitesh, and others for Defaming Salian Family on several Platforms, Vasanti Salian Approached Maharashtra State Women’s Commission (MSWC), News Agency, Press Trust of India quoted.

Earlier this month, the Duo was granted Interim Protection from Arrest till 10 March.

To Quash First Information Report (FIR) Registered against them, the Duo late approached the Bombay High Court.

On June 8, 2020, Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Former Manager Disha Salian committed Suicide by Jumping off a High-Rise Building in Suburban Malad.

After 6 Days, Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, 34 years, was found Hanging at his Apartment in Suburban Bandra.
