Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to hold talks with farmers protesting against farm laws

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will talk with the protesting farmers who are agitated against the farm laws.

It was earlier scheduled on 3rd December, but now he will be holding the talks today.

Narendra Singh Tomar said, “Keeping in view the cold and COVID-19, we have invited leaders of farmer unions for discussion much before the scheduled December 3 meeting.”

The ministers (Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar) held the meeting with the farmers at the residence of BJP national President JP Nadda on Tuesday.

The farmers are protesting at the Delhi border since 26th November 2020.

The farmers are protesting against the three farm laws which were enacted by the Parliament in September.

They further said until the government listens to their “Mann ki Baat” they will keep protesting.
