Protest in Dhaka: Demands trial of Israel Govt in International Court

Protestors in Dhaka have demanded trial of Israel Government in International Court for its brutality and killing of innocent people in Palestine.

Various Islamic organizations carried out protests at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and National Press Club in Dhaka seeking the government to send medical teams to Palestine to treat wounded people and vowed to continue their demonstrations until Palestine was recognized as a sovereign state.

The protestors also condemned the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation for their inefficiency and idleness to bring Israel to justice for its crimes.

Further, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat chairman Kazi Mainuddin Ashrafi insisted on boycotting all Israeli products in protest of their aggression on Palestine.

The Deputy police commissioner for Diplomatic Security division has received the petitions of the representatives of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat on behalf of the Embassies.

At least 243 Palestines including 66 children have been killed by Israel’s bombardment of Gaza bringing widespread destruction to the impoverished territory.
