The Owner of Gaza building housing international media that was destroyed in an Israeli airstrike is lodging a complaint with the International Criminal Court.

The complaint by Jawad Mehdi read that the attack on May 15th which flattened the Jala Tower, housing the offices of US news agency Associated Press and Al Jazeera television, was a “war Crime”

The filing of the complaint came in as a result of statement of Chief Prosecutor, ICC that “Crimes” may have been committed during the recent violence between Israel and Palestinians.

Lawyer Gilles Devers told that Israel could show no military objective behind its attack which compels them to file a war complaint with the International Criminal Court.

The Israeli authorities claimed that the building was sheltering Hamas military intelligence units and armed equipment, however Dever denied all the claims.

Furthermore, another bone of contention is that Israel is not a party to ICC. Whereas, Palestine has been the party to ICC since 2015 which further infuriated Israel over the complaint.
