In a preliminary report on allegations over black marketing of COVID-19 medicines against various politicians, the Delhi Police has told the Delhi High Court that All India Youth Congress President Srinivas and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir are actually helping people without discrimination.
The Police submitted that in the enquiry conducted so far, the persons alleged over hoarding of medicines are actually providing medical aid to people thereby charging no money for the same.
In addition to it, the Police also submitted that the distribution was completely voluntary and without discrimination.
While Srinivas in his reply told the police that his team connects patients with the appropriate resource, Gambhir told that the medical camp being organized by Gautam Gambhir Foundation remained under the control and supervision of Dr. Manish of Garg Hospital.
The inquiry comes after the Delhi High court directed the city police to investigate the politicians involved in the distribution of Covid medicines and lodge FIR in case of disparities and offence.
