Srinagar lawyers asked to test for COVID-19 after Senior Advocate tests positive

Jammu and Kashmir High Court has asked the advocates to undergo a covid-19 test after a senior advocate was tested positive. This instruction is concerning advocates practicing in its Srinagar wing.

The court has issued orders through its Judicial Registrar for undergoing the test. The order stated-

“It has come to the information on the undersigned that one of the senior advocates has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and therefore, in order to prevent the spread of the infection and as a security measure, it is charged upon all the advocates practicing in the High Court of J&K Srinagar that they should undergo a COVID-19 test in the High Court building (Tuesday)”
