Smt. Goddeti Madhavi is Member of Parliament.. She is the daughter of late Shri Goddeti Demudu, a communist leader and former legislator and Smt. Goddeti Chellayamma. She studied B.Sc. (Computer), B.P.Ed. at SPACES Degree College and Srinivasa College of Physical Education.
A former physical education teacher, she vowed to deliver healthcare, institutional deliveries and nutritious food in the tribal areas of her constituency. Madhavi joined YSRCP in 2018.
The youngest candidate from YSRCP to contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Goddeti Madhavi was elected into 17th Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 221,000 votes from Araku constituency. This was the fourth-largest margin in the state. Thereafter, she became Member of Committee on Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes on 24th July 2019 and Member of Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture; Member of Consultative Committee in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries on 13th September 2019
