Dilipkumar Viraji Thakor is an Indian Politician and is currently a Cabinet Minister for Labour and Employment, Disaster Management, Devsthan, Pilgrimage Development and representing Chanasma Constituency of Patan District in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. He was born on 01 June 1959 in Gujarat .
Thakore is a member of Bharati Janata Party. He was elected as an MLA more then thrice in Gujarat’s legislative assembly elections. He has completed his studies till SSC and then started contributing for his passion for the agriculture development. His down to earth nature is the reason behind his polpularity among the citizens.
His father Shri Shri Viraji Thakor was also a politician and was a MLA for 3 consecutive terms from the same area. Thakore’s father was his role model as he lived his life dedicated to the poor and downtrodden people.
Getting inspired by his role model Thakore decided to serve his life for the development of agriculture and society and joined politics for same. At present he is the Minister of Labour and Employment, Disaster Management, Devsthan, and Pilgrimage Development in the Government of Gujarat.
