Lawyer Nishant Katneshwarkar described the threat call details as “I received this call from a UK number. It is from Mr. Pannu of SFJ. But today it is saying that the SFJ will identify the advocates. Because of the filing of the complaint, the advocates have put themselves in a dangerous position. And it further says that SFJ will not allow Justice Indu Malhotra to proceed with the inquiry committee and SFJ will block the Honorable Prime Minister on 26th of January.”

Previously Supreme Court Lawyer Vineet Jindal filed a complaint in regards with receiving a call from the Sikhs for Justice founder. Mr. Jindal filed the complaint with the Commissioner of Delhi Police Rakesh Asthana and the Cyber cell of Delhi Police.

Mr. Jindal’s complaint stated, “The act of instigating people by offering a monetary reward on social networking sites accessed by millions of users to stop the PM and Indian flag on Republic Day indicate the intentions of an attempt to create national unrest and to wage war in the country. It is an insulting act and grave offence to dishonor the pride of the national flag by burning it.”
