The Fresh Bail Application of Actress Rhea Chakraborty is Rejected by Mumbai Sessions Court. Now all 6 accused – Rhea Chakraborty Showik Chakraborty, Abdul Basit, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant and Samuel Miranda to move Bombay High Court Lawyer said.
The application for the same could be done on Monday on account of drafting purposes. The court had reserved till Friday its order on the bail application moved by Rhea, who was arrested over drugs-related charges linked to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
The bail orders of co-accused and alleged drug peddlers, Basit Parihar and Zaid Vilatra, were also rejected.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has made submission is the session court that Rhea not only consumed drugs but also used to sell, transporting and involved in a deep conspiracy, grounds for which bail shouldn’t be granted.
Rhea Charkraborty bail application as I concluded that the bail application may be rejected so is the result. Hence as per legal propriety and precedents the bail application was rejected by sessions court.
This was something predicted as this is against settled legal position that no bail in most of cases during judicial custody.
Now the question is Whether High Court will give her reprieve?
Here again the legal perspective is different and in most probability the bail application will again rejected as the order of sessions court will be a reasoned order and High Court will not deviate from these conclusions.
