Actress Rhea Chakraborty has filed a reply in the Bombay High Court seeking dismissal of the plea for quashing the FIR registered against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters- Meetu and Priyanka and Dr. Kumar.

Chakraborty has stated that SSR died mere days after his sister Priyanka Singh provided him with a bogus prescription for medicines which was written by Dr. Tarun Kumar.

The FIR had been filed against the sisters on complaint of Rhea Chakraborty.

Rhea has stated in her complaint that SSR’s sisters had conspired alongwith the Doctor and provided him with a prescription containing drugs included in the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act).

She also submitted that on June 8 she came to know that his sister had sent him a prescription for medicines for his bipolar disorder and she had warned him not to consume those medicines as Priyanka Singh had no medical qualifications. And SSR died on June 14.

Further. Dr. Tarun did not give proper medical consultation to SSR which is mandated by law.

She contended that, “A strong prima facie case has been made out against Priyanka and Meetu Singh with Dr. Kumar. The investigation is at a nascent stage and CBI ought to be afforded sufficient opportunity of investigating into the allegations in the FIR which are of a serious nature.”

She has also requested the Hon’be Court to not quash the FIR and dismiss the petition with costs.
