Due to avoid gathering, looking at the COVID situation this step has been taken by the High Court.

Along with issuing new guidelines, earlier on Monday, the State Government said that the first phase of the Yatra will commence on July 1, where residents of Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts will be allowed for Yatra after prior registration and RTPCR/TrueNat/RAT Covid negative test report.

As per the guidelines, the second phase will begin from July 11 for all the residents having a negative Covid test report.
