The Supreme Court issued rules for hearing matters of extreme urgency by Vacation Bench, mentioning that fresh matters be made only through Email.
Under the directions of the Competent Authority several arrangements have been made in order to facilitate the hearing of extremely urgent matters.
As per the circular issued, requests mentioning of Fresh Matters before Vacation Benches shall be mailed to [email protected] following the format mentioned.
In case the Mentioning Officer declines to allow the request for listing, the Advocate on-Record/Party-in-Person may request the Mentioning Registrar to place the mentioning slip before the Judge presiding over the Vacation Bench for appropriate orders. Such a request shall be submitted to the Mentioning Officer at [email protected]. The request shall be processed in terms of directions of the Hon’ble Judge.
Further, the mentioning of After Notice matters shall continue strictly as per the guidelines approve by the Competent Authority earlier and Mentioning applications may be sent in the format provided, through the email address.
The present circular has been issued in supersession of earlier circular dated on 27 May, 2021.
