Under the chairmanship of Shri Balbir Singh Rajewal, the Samuyukta Kisan Morcha held a joint meeting of numerous farmers unions and organisations that are a part of the ongoing farmer’s protests.
The call for the meeting was done by Samyukta Kisan Morcha who had earlier condemned the violence in the presence of Punjabi Actor and activist Deep Sindhu.
The statement conveyed sincere appreciation to the struggling farmers for sending responses to the Kisan Republic Day Parade.
The meeting concluded that the Union government was severely shaken by the protests yesterday and that a dirty conspiracy was hatched with the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee against the peaceful struggle they had organised.
The meeting concluded they weren’t a part of the protests ongoing under them.
Sincere appreciation was conveyed to the struggling farmers for extending an unprecedented response to the Kisan Republic Day Parade.
The meeting also blamed anti-social elements like Deep Sindhu for the violence, stating that the organisations and persons mentioned in the meeting were the ones to blame for what happened yesterday.
There was discussion of how the protests were hijacked by these people as chants of “Our Route, Ring Road” was made to break away from the designated routes, by these elements who took over the SKM organised protests at Singhu border on Monday night.
The meeting stated that this was a deep-rooted conspiracy to knock down the peaceful and strong farmer’s struggle.
