A special MP/MLA court ordered for the properties attached to congress leader Naseemuddin Siddiqui and BSP leader Ram Achal Rajbhar for evading arrest.

This comes after Justice P.K Rai had officially labelled the two absconding justice in October last year and had also charged them under non-bailable offences.

The case dates back to 2016 when BJP leader Dayashankar Singh was involved in an verbal encounter with the two, where the BJP leader had apparently said derogatory remarks against Dalit leader and BSP president Mayawati, where he compared her to a prostitute.

This led to an FIR be charged against him regarding the issue under Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) act.

In response the BJP leader’s mother, Tetra Devi, had charged the two, then, BSP members under POCSO and IPC for insulting his wife and his minor daughter.

Naseemuddin Siddiqui had in 2018 joined Congress after being expelled from BSP, but at the time of the altercation belonged to BSP.
