Nawab malik’s son-in-law arrested in drug probe by NCB

In yet another drug based arrest in the ongoing sequence of arrests and interrogations of high profile Bollywood entities and other high profile persons, the son-in-law of Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau and is said to be remanded in custody till 18th January.

He was earlier taken for a medical check-up and was called in for questioning on 13th January.

After several hours of questioning he was taken to jail, based on an alleged transaction of 20,000 INR between him and one of the accused in the case.

There were also multiple raids conducted in Mumbai last night by multiple teams of the anti-drugs bureau.

To this the Maharashtra Minister, Nawab Malik, posted on social media saying that no one is above the law and that he has full trust in the judiciary.

This comes as yet another arrest, the NCB on 9th January seized 200 kilograms of marijuana from British National Karan Sajnani. The transaction of 20,000 INR happened between Sajnani and Khan.

The probe was initiated earlier last year on 14th June by the NCB on the death of Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput and has since then questioned a number of celebrities and made a bunch of arrests of drug suppliers.
