The Supreme Court of India Collegium held a meeting on February 1, 2022 in which it made several recommendations regarding appointment of new Judges and judicial officers for High Courts.
In the meeting, the Supreme Court Collegium in regards with appointment of new judges for the Telangana High Court, recommended names of seven advocates and five judicial officers, who can be appointed as new judges in the High Court.
The seven names of advocates recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium for the Telangana High Court are as follows: Shri Kasoju Surendhar @ K. Surender, Shri Chada Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Smt. Surepalli Nanda, Shri Mummineni Sudheer Kumar, Smt. Juvvadi Sridevi @ Kuchadi Sridevi, Shri Mirza Safiulla Baig, and Shri Natcharaju Shravan Kumar Venkat.
The five names of the judicial officers recommended for the Telangana High Court are as follows: Smt. G. Anupama Chakravarthy, Smt. M.G. Priyadarshini, Shri Sambasivarao Naidu, Shri A. Santosh Reddy, and Dr. D. Nagarjun.
