The Madras High Court directed the Puducherry Chief Secretary to table a report listing number of ventilators, Covid-19 vaccine and total number of vacant beds available.
The report should further enlist the availability of remdesivir vials, the quantity of oxygen being utilised and any other additional requirement.
Chief Justice Sanjib Banerjee and Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy issued the direction after a litigant submitted that the situation in the union territory was rather critical with shortage of life-saving facilities.
