The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to BJP leader Omprakash Dhurve and other respondents for allegedly constructing a three-storeyed building and contravening the norms put down by the Court.

The notice comes after a petition was filed in the Court challenging the construction of the building as it was built within the 50 meters of the Narmada River and also without the permission of the Court.

The Building is allegedly built at Dewra village in Dindori district ignoring the directives of the Court which clearly stated that no construction can take place within the 300 meters of the river.

The petition is coupled up with another petition seeking demolition of all constructions on the banks of the Narmada River by a Division Bench of Chief Justice Mohd Rafiq and Justice Sujoy Paul.

Both the petitions are listed for further hearing on 11 June.
