A single-judge bench of Justice Nandita Dubey stayed the transfer of a women employee working at the Municipal Council, Nowrozabad, District Umaria.
The Petition filed by Reena Rathore complained to the Madhya Pradesh High court about her frequent transfers.
The petitioner contended that she has received two subsequent transfers. She received the first transfer order, from the Municipal Corporation, Rewa to Municipal Council, Nowrozabad, District Umaria, and the second transfer order, from Umaria to Municipal Council, Kothi, District Satna.
The Counsel for petitioner G.S. Gaharwar, asserted that the transfer order is against Clause 11.1 of the transfer policy and he further submitted that a similar contention is pending before the concerned authority, and prayed the court to stay the order till any decision comes on the matter.
The Court directed the authority to determine the petitioner’s representation as per law and policy within four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order.
