Kerala High Court ordered the State Government to file a status report regarding the Investigation of the Murder of RSS worker, who was hacked to death in November in the Palakkad district.

The Court asked for the report after the wife of the deceased RSS worker filed Plea in High Court requesting a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe of the Case.

Sanjith aged 27 was hacked to death on November 15 while he was on the way to drop his wife at her workstation.

Police had convicted many people including the Office-bearer of the Popular Front of India (PFI) in the same case. They have also informed the Court that the Arrested PFI office bearer was directly involved in the Murder of Sanjith.

The Court while directing the State for the report quizzed the wife of the deceased that, “What wrong has the Investigating Officer (IO) committed for the Case to be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)?”

The Bhartiya Janata Party and Sangh Parivar associations have blamed that the activists of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political branch of PFI were thew mastermind this broad daylight Murder.

The Court has adjourned the matter for hearing after 2 weeks.
