Gangster Vikas Dubey’s brother surrenders in court, sent to judicial custody for 14 days

Gangster Vikas Dubey’s brother – Deepak Dubey has surrendered himself at a court in Lucknow.

Vikas Dubey had killed eight policemen in a village in Kanpur. He was killed in an encounter on 10th July 2020 while being taken by the Uttar Pradesh police.

Vikas’s brother had surrendered on 22nd December’s evening quietly.

The court has ordered 14 days’ judicial custody for him.

Deepak had fled away after the Bikru massacre. The state police had announced a reward of Rs 20,000 on him.

A case of extortion and forgery was registered against Deepak at a police station in Lucknow.

As per sources, Deepak had been hiding in the court premises since Monday night with the fear of being killed in an encounter. He surrendered before the court when there was the least police presence inside the court.
