The Managing Director of T-Series and Film Producer, Bhushan Kumar has been accused of alleged rape of a woman, in pursuant of an FIR registered at Mumbai’s DN Nagar Police station in Andheri (West), Mumbai.
Bhushan Kumar is convicted under Sections 376, 420 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape, cheating and criminal intimidation.
The complaint is made by a 30-year-old woman against Bhushan Kumar who claimed that producer has raped her in guise of a job to her in his upcoming film projects.
The woman added that she was cheated by Bhushan, hence, she approached the police claiming mistreatment against her. Woman further stated that Bhushan has also threatened her to make her photo and video viral.
The Mumbai police is currently investigating the matter. No arrest has been made yet but they soon expect to arrest and question him to record his statement in respect to the allegations charged against him.
