Manish Sisodia’s criminal defamation case against Manoj Tiwari has now made the latter move to the Delhi High Court to challenge the summon order issued by the MP/MLA Court against him.

The Single Bench of Justice Anu Malhotra will hear the matter on December 01.

The court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal had issued the summoning order against the BJP leader.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi had filed a criminal complaint against Tiwari and others for allegedly falsely accusing him of corruption in the development of the state government school classrooms.

Sisodia said that the comments made by Tiwari were derogatory and defamatory and had tarnished his reputation.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Vijender Gupta, and Hans Raj Hans are the other BJP leaders named in the case.

Tiwari, actor, singer, and politician, is a Member of Parliament from North-East Delhi.
