A Bihar District Court granted Bail to a man accused of Molestation on the condition that he shall wash and iron the clothes of all the women in his village for free for the next six months.

The Order was issued in response to a Petition filed against Washerman Lalan Kumar Safi for allegedly Molesting a woman on the night of April 17 in the Laukaha Bazar, Madhubani District.

The Court passed the Order even though the Complainant’s Counsel stated that the victim did not want to take the case further. A Reconciliation Petition has been filed to end the Criminal Proceedings.

The Court further ordered the accused to deposit a Bail bond of Rs. 10,000 with two sureties of the same amount.
