Andhra Pradesh High Court

 Snehal Upadhyay-

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh heard the petitions filed over the issues related to irregularities in the conduct of the Group-1 Mains examination.

There were a total of 9 petitions that were taken for trial on Tuesday, 15th June.

The counsels of the petitioners brought the irregularities from the exams issues like exams not being conducted as per the rules that were discussed.

The counsel also informed the Court that a digital valuation for the examination papers was mentioned by the authorities but rather than that the valuation of Telugu medium papers was done in the state whereas the valuation of English medium papers was done in other states which had clearly made the valuation biased for the students who wrote in English medium.

The government lawyers argued that the Group-1 examinations were conducted as per the guidelines and regulations of APPSC, further also brought up the notice of the Court that there was no need to mention in advance about the valuation process.

After hearing to both sides the Court reserved the judgement.
