Andhra Pradesh Governor withdraws order revoking Appointment of JNTU-K Vice Chancellor following SC Order

In pursuance of the orders of the Supreme Court, the Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan has withdrawn Government Order 26 which had revoked the appointment of Professor M Ramalinga Raju’s Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Kakinada (JNTU-K).

The said order to rescind Professor M Ramalinga Raju’s appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University – Kakinada (JNTU-K) was issued in May in compliance with the orders of the State High Court to rescind the appointment of Prof. Raju as Vice President of JNTU-Kakinada.

Special General Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Satish Chandra has been appointed as Vice President of JNTU-Kakinada.
