In her first interview since her Defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard stated that she stood by every word of her testimony. The actor was asked about Johnny’s statement in Court, in which he said he’d never hit her, in an interview footage aired on Monday. Amber called it as a lie. According to a new report, Amber’s accusation may result in Johnny suing her again.

In their Defamation cases against each other, the Jury found both Amber and Johnny liable for defamation. The jury in its verdict found Amber defamed Johnny in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed and awarded him much higher damages on June 1.

The Jury awarded him $10 million in compensatory damages and around $5 million in punitive damages, while Amber was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages. Many people considered this as a win for Johnny.

Amber said that she did not regret her testimony in the defamation trial in a post-trial interview with NBC, which were aired on Monday. When the host asked Amber that whether Johnny saying in court that he never hit her, was a lie, the actor answered, “Yes, it is.”

According to a New York-based lawyer, Amber could be back in court as a result of comments she made in her most recent interview. “Yes. This interview could count as a new ‘publication’ under the law, which could spur a third lawsuit,” lawyer Nicole Haff said.

However, the lawyer said that Johnny should not pursue a third trial against Amber because “Heard’s lawyers have previously stated that she cannot pay the original Judgement.
