Aluva Judicial Magistrate First Class Court, in the Conspiracy Case against the actor Dileep and others, directed the phones of the Accused to be sent for a Forensic examination at the Thiruvananthapuram Cyber Forensic laboratory directly.

The Case was filed against the actor for allegedly plotting to endanger the lives of Police officers who probed an Assault Case in which apparently, Dileep is an Accused.

As per the sources, the phones will be sent directly from the Court itself and the results will be received at the Court too, without any interference of the Investigation team at any point. Apparently, six phones were presented to the High Court Registrar by the Accused.

Earlier on February 02, the Prosecution had requested the Court to get the patterns checked at the Court itself to ensure that the Forensic test results are not delayed in Case the patterns for unlocking the phones are found to be wrong.

The Defence Counsel had opposed the request and said that if the phones are allowed to be unlocked at the Court, there will be chances of evidence tampering. The Court turned down the Prosecution’s request before deciding to send the phones directly for scientific analysis,

As per the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the phones have materials that could help them further the probe in the Conspiracy Case. It is further expected that the experts will be able to retrieve any formatted data too.
