A US Court on Thursday permitted former President Donald Trump’s Plea to temporarily block the release of White House documents that could involve him in the January 6 Capitol Attack.

The documents have been sought by the House Select Committee conducting the probe on the attack and had been issued a release on Tuesday by a US District Judge.

The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit stated that it had granted what it called an Administrative Injunction. 

The Three-Judge Panel observed that the action “Should not be construed in any way as a ruling on the merits of the Case.”

Joe Biden has already Granted the release of the records, which are preserved by the National Archives. 

Further, it was highlighted that the House Panel was to acquire its first batch on Friday.

Altogether the House has appealed more than 770 pages of documents including records from Trump’s top aides and Memos to his Press Secretary.

Furthermore, Former President Trump also requested to halt the release of the White House Daily Diary, a record of his activities, trips, briefings, and phone calls.

Former President Trump also disapproves the display of Memos to his Former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, a handwritten note on the January 6 events, and an aft text of his speech at the ‘Save America’ rally to the Congress.

The Court further posted the Arguments for November 30.
