103-year-old man was found guilty of Sexually Assaulting a 10-year-old girl and convicted to Ten years in Prison.
On July 7, 2018, the Victim’s woman filed a complaint with the All-Women Police Station in Avadi, alleging that K. Parasuraman, 99, of Senneerkuppam, Poonamallee, sexually abused her daughter.
According to the police, Parasuraman, a retired Government school headmaster, built and rented out five houses near his home in Sanneerkuppam.
He Enticed the child with the promise of chocolate before Sexually Assaulting her.
When she complained of stomach pain, her parents became aware of the crime.
Police allegedly apprehended Parasuraman from his home, and during questioning, he allegedly confessed to the crime.
A judge then remanded him in custody. A case was filed under the Children’s Protection from Sexual Offenses Act.
Following the investigation, the police presented their final report to Tiruvallur’s Mahila Court.
According to the Police, the Trial took place, and Parasuraman was convicted and sentenced to ten years in Prison as well as a 5,000 fine.
The victim received $45,000 in compensation from the Court. Parasuraman is being held at Puzhal Prison.
